When I went back to Malaysia, I noticed a growing trend among my close friends and acquaintances who had started to explore the world of freelancing. Despite their skills and experience, they were having trouble finding suitable opportunities. This realization sparked an idea in my mind. Why not create a matchmaking-as-a-service tool that could help connect talented individuals with suitable projects and vice versa?
With that, I set to work and began developing a comprehensive platform that could cater to the needs of both freelancers and businesses. My primary goal was to make the process of finding work or talent as seamless as possible. After three months of running the platform, I was thrilled to have successfully curated 15 matches between freelancers and businesses. I have now discontinued this project as this was just a fun short stint I did while I was home.
